Short description:
We are looking for a C# Web Developer responsible for building and maintaining web applications. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop these applications, ensuring their performance, quality, and responsiveness. You will work closely with the rest of the development team to integrate applications with various layers of the infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain efficient, reliable, and modern C# code for backend services, APIs and data processing components ensuring robust architecture and maintainability
- Drive development and ensure high quality of code delivered to stakeholders
- Provide support and advice to other developers within the company
- Responsible for regular communication with others involved in the development process
- Responsible to present the outcome of development work for stakeholders
- Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
- Writing well designed, testable, efficient code by using the best software development practices
- Work on improving existing and developing new tools
- Optimize applications for maximum speed, security, and scalability, ensuring robust performance
Requirements:
- 2+ years of relevant industry experience in web development
- Proficient in C#, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems
- Experience with the .NET framework, including .NET Core for web applications
- Familiar with various design and architectural patterns
- Knack for writing clean, readable C# code
- Proficiency in RESTful API design, data modeling, and ORM frameworks such as Entity Framework.
- Experience with relational databases and understanding of database design principles.
- Knowledge of security best practices, including OAuth, JWT, and SSO.
- Experience deploying and hosting web applications using IIS
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools
- Excellent command of English language both written and oral
- Good time-management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
Nice to have:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in computer science or a related field
- Experience with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
